Smarter Credits, Faster Workflows: iFax Just Got an Upgrade ⚡
Managing your faxes just got smarter and more efficient. With expanded credit functionality and powerful new automation triggers, iFax is making it easier than ever to streamline your workflow—no extra subscriptions or manual work required. Check out what’s new!
Expanded iFax Credit System 🤑
The iFax credit system now applies to more than just faxing. You can use credits for:
• AI Chat for document-related questions
• OCR and Data Extraction (NLP) for structured data retrieval
• Automations, which no longer require a separate paid subscription
Credits are now deducted from your iFax credit balance based on the specific service used. Whether you’re sending a fax, extracting data with OCR, or running an automation, your credits adjust dynamically to match your activity—giving you more flexibility without the need for separate subscriptions.

Additionally, the Usage Quick View now provides a breakdown of credit usage per service when hovering over the Plan bar. To help track usage, we’ve updated reports to include credit consumption.
New Automation Trigger: “New Fax Received” 🤖
You can now automate workflows based on when a new fax arrives. This trigger allows you to:
• Automatically label new faxes for easier identification
• Move incoming faxes to a designated folder for better organization
• Send an email notification to alert team members of a new fax
• Assign the fax to a specific team member for immediate action

These are just a few ways you can use the new trigger—there’s plenty more you can automate to fit your workflow. Whether it’s organizing, notifying, or assigning tasks, you now have more control over how new faxes are handled, no manual work required.
More Free Faxing for Users 🎉
Users now get 25 pages per month (up from 10) to trial Broadcast and API features without a paid plan! Enjoy more trialling at no cost.
Export Fax History 📂
Users can now export their fax history as a .CSV file for record-keeping and reporting.
